Terms

This page describes the basic terms of working with mondai. studio. Specifics of any project are always agreed after a call and confirmed in the scope of work.
Services are provided by CJ Nguyen Van as an unregistered activity under the mondai. studio brand.

First call
The first call usually takes about 30 minutes and is free. Its purpose is to understand the problem, check whether I can help, and agree on a sensible first step.
The call itself does not oblige you to start a project.
Who can work with me
Individuals, people running a business, organizations, and companies can all work with me. If you act as a consumer, the consumer rights described below apply to you.
Scope and pricing
Prices shown on the site are starting points, not fixed shopping-cart packages.
After the call, I prepare a simple scope, price, and estimated timeline. The scope depends on what you already have, what condition it is in, and what really needs to be built.
A project starts only after you accept the scope and terms.
Payment
After the scope is accepted, we agree on a payment setup that fits the project. Sometimes it is one payment, sometimes stages, sometimes something in between - depending on the scale of work and what makes sense for both sides.
Payment is made by bank transfer unless we agree otherwise. The sales document is issued according to the current legal and tax status of the activity.
Work preview
When a working version exists, you may get a preview link. It may be a draft website, a simple flow, a panel, or an automation demo. This makes it possible to check the direction before the project is finished.
Tools and external costs
Domain, email, hosting, Microsoft 365, AI, or other paid tools may have a separate monthly or yearly cost. I do not add my own margin to those costs.
Before we start, we agree what is needed and whether we can use what you already have.
Ownership and access
I help choose and set up tools, but the domain, email, hosting, and key accounts should ultimately stay on the client’s side.
After launch, I hand over access and simple information about what is where, who has access, what renews, and what you pay for.
If you choose post-launch care, I can stay as technical support. If not, the project should be transferable without being locked inside my private account.
What the client should provide
Smooth work usually needs materials and information, for example:
- copy or main information about the offer,
- logo, photos, or graphic materials, if they exist,
- access to domain, email, hosting, or tools, if needed,
- information about current systems,
- decisions and feedback within the agreed time.
Scope changes
If new needs appear during the project, the scope can be expanded. Additional work is priced separately or added as another stage.
Launch and the first month
The first month after launch is included in the project price.
It includes small fixes, help with first use, explanation of handed-over access, and support with first questions after launch.
It does not include new features, new scope, project rebuilds, additional integrations, permanent administration, or monthly care. Those are agreed separately.
Withdrawal and cancellation
If you enter into a distance contract as a consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract.
If you want me to start work before those 14 days pass, I may ask for separate confirmation. If you withdraw after work has started, the completed part is settled according to applicable law and the agreed scope.
If the service has been fully performed with your express consent before the withdrawal period ends, the right of withdrawal may not apply to the extent allowed by law.
The project can also be ended under the rules agreed in the accepted scope or a separate contract.
Complaints
You can submit a complaint by email: cj@mondaistudio.com.
In the message, describe what the problem is about and what outcome you expect. I will respond as soon as possible, no later than required by applicable law.
A consumer may also use help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman, the Trade Inspection, UOKiK, or other available forms of out-of-court dispute resolution.
Copyright and licences
The scope of rights to the project, code, copy, graphics, templates, fonts, photos, tools, and external elements should be defined in the proposal or contract.
External elements such as tools, fonts, libraries, plug-ins, hosting services, or AI models may operate under their own licences and provider terms.
